We spoke to club member Nicky Sawyer about some of their crafting favourites!
"My grandad taught me to knit when I was around 5, but I didn't really get into it until the mid 80's so I've been knitting around 40 years"
"...seeing the smile on my grandchildren faces when gran gives them something she's made.."
"...is in front of the TV with my feet up"
"...my grandchildren, their friends and a charity that gives presents at Christmas to children who would have nothing."
"...give it a try, if you get stuck ask for help."
"...it can be relaxing, it's a great way of making friends, it's a way of expressing yourself, and a great way of showing someone you care with a gift you've made.."
